What is the Broadening Horizons Learning Model?

Broadening Horizons learning model aligns with a design thinking process: Understand, Design, Deliver and Evolve.

What is design thinking you ask? It’s a concept that provides creative and innovative ideas at work. It’s specifically directed at creating value and solving existing problems.

This model primarily sees students working in small groups, on a challenge provided by the industry partner. Over the course of the program the students design and develop possible solutions to present back to the industry partner and broader audience.
